Former Rep. Michelle Bachmann said divine guidance helped her decide to join the Donald Trump presidential campaign. According to the New York Daily News, Bachmann currently serves on a 21-person “Evangelical Executive Advisory Board,” who counsel Trump, a thrice married, casino owner, who has appeared in Playboy, on faith in America. Televangelist Kenneth Copeland, who also serves on the board, previously said God had chosen Sen. Ted Cruz to be president.

“I prayed long and hard about this decision,” said Bachmann in an interview with the Conservative Chronicle. “Then one night God came to me in a dream and said, ‘Michelle, Donald Trump needs your help in becoming president.’”

She added that God was using Donald Trump to set the country back on the path of righteousness.

Bachmann ran for president in 2012 and also claimed God told her to seek the White House. She is known for making bizarre and embarrassing statements, such as not knowing Libya was in Africa and claiming the Iranian deal was a sign of the End Times.

  1. Man, even Trump the legend in his own mind must be getting a little freaked out by now with all these nut jobs getting on his train. I bet his thinking back when he thought he had no chance, that if he made it this far, it would be all Swedish bikini models and non losers who he could entertain with his stories of conquest after conquest, riches and success. You folks seriously believe that his man of the people, with his strong family values, or his two sons and daughter, would let you into their next informal BBQ on the balcony?
