Presumed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is a big fan of racial profiling. He seems to think it will be a great way to stop potential terrorists from entering the country.
“I think there can be profiling,” said Trump during an appearance on “Face The Nation. “You have people that have to be tracked. If they’re Muslims, they’re Muslims. But you have people that have to be tracked. And we’ve better be — I use the word vigilance. We have to show vigilance.”
Trump reinforced this opinion in a recent interview on WEHW radio.
“Look, if someone’s trying to come into the country and he has a thick beard, a turban on his head and his name is Mohammed Jihad, I’m thinking he may need to be waterboarded until he tells us all he knows,” said Trump.
