Donald Trump supporter and G-list actress Stacey Dash has been named Coon of the Century, according to a survey by Occidental Public Polling (OPP.)
According to an OPP press release, Dash received 50 percent of the vote, far ahead of other contenders Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Dr. Ben Carson and Flavor Flav.
Dash, who appeared in the ‘90s hit “Clueless,” had a faltering Hollywood career, but has reinvented herself as a conservative pundit making frequent appearances on FOX News.
However, her largely uninformed opinions have not endeared her to the black community. She has accused the Democratic Party of keeping black people on a plantation. She also said channels like BET were encouraging segregation.
“If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards,” said Dash in an appearance on FOX News. “There shouldn’t be a Black History Month.”
However, Dash’s latest comments about actor Jesse Williams’ impassioned speech at the BET awards pushed the limits of taste.
“You’ve just seen the perfect example of a HOLLYWOOD plantation slave! Sorry, Mr Williams. But the fact that you were standing on that stage at THOSE awards tells people you really don’t know what your talking about. Just spewing hate and anger,” said Dash on her blog on Patheos.
