Televangelist Jim Bakker has joined the ranks of preachers who are predicting a win by presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in November.
“God came to me in a dream last night and showed Donald and Melania standing in front of the White House in November,” said Bakker on his television show. “God told me America will be safe in Trump’s hands.”
Several other Evangelical preachers have prophesied a Trump victory. Televangelist Pat Robertson predicted that Trump would win in a landslide.
“The way things are going, from what I have seen, from past elections, it looks like it is going to be a blow out for Trump…it is just amazing…how does [Hillary Clinton] reinvent herself?…she is not really coming through as authentic….” said Robertson on “The 700 Club.”
Robertson has a poor track record when it comes to predictions. He predicted Mitt Romney would win in 2012, and has falsely predicted the end of the world several times.
According to Right Wing Watch, Pastor Mark Burns prayed for a Trump victory at the Republican National Convention, which kicked off on Monday.
Burns called on God to put Trump in the White House.
“Give him the words, give him the peace, give him the power and the authority to be the next president of the United States of America,” said Burns.
