President-elect Donald Trump is struggling to pull together his administration. Some of the names put forward for his cabinet are people with outrageous views. According to the Patriot Media Sentinel, Trump is also considering former Sen. Rick Santorum to head up his sexual education initiative. Santorum is a staunch Catholic, who doesn’t believe in any form of artificial birth control. Santorum said he would ban the promotion of condoms and encourage natural contraception.

“If the withdrawal method is good enough for the Pope, it’s good enough for me,” said Santorum.

However, Santorum is not the only controversial pick for Trump’s cabinet. Right-wing radio show Laura Ingraham is rumored to be a candidate for White House press secretary. She recently hosted noted racist Pat Buchanan on her show. According to Media Matters, she praised Trump for following Buchanan’s model.

“So, Pat, as I said, you really wrote this playbook so many years ago … But you knew that this was the menu of issues that, if packaged properly, would really connect with the American heartland and impress people, in a good way, and Trump did it, and he did it in a very unconventional way,” she said.

Buchanan, a former speechwriter for President Richard Nixon, has run for president several times over the last 30 years. One of his main issues has been reducing immigration from non-white countries, who he believes have an inferior culture to Western Europe’s.
