Although South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has been tipped to be a 2020 presidential contender and also mentioned as a potential candidate for secretary of state in the Donald Trump administration, not everyone is happy about her rising political career.
Some posters on the white supremacist site Stormfront, bashed Haley and called into question her nationality. (Haley was born in America to Indian parents.)
“Nikki Haley? All that muzzy bitch is qualified to be off is secretary of 7-Eleven,” said a poster called Stormtrooper77. (Although Haley was raised in the Sikh faith, she is now a Christian.)
The National White Alliance was equally critical.
“Haley doesn’t look like someone I want representing my American values,” said President Brian Blanc.
Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter has previously questioned Haley’s nationality. According to Media Matters, Coulter lambasted Haley when she made the decision to take down the Confederate flag from state buildings in 2014.
“For — for, again, second generation immigrant Nikki Haley to come in and — a Republican, and strip Americans of their history, and their heritage, this is the political correctness that Trump is going against, so much more than forcing reporters to — to let him say anchor babies,” said Coulter on the Sean Hannity radio show.
