Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a black conservative and minister, has called on the Trump administration to employ a government-funded exorcist. Speaking on his radio show, Peterson said that a White House exorcist was needed to fight back against the demonically-inspired opposition.
“If you look at this wave of protests, it’s more than just the liberal left,” he said. “Trump was put into the White House by prayers and so the Devil is fighting back hard against this.”
Peterson isn’t the only Evangelical Christian who believes that any protest against President Donald Trump is inspired by dark forces.
On “TruNews” end times preacher Rick Wiles claimed God was providing Trump with spiritual protection, according to Right Wing Watch.
“God is shielding that man and none of their witchcraft and sorcery is going to work,” said Wiles.
Televangelist Pat Robertson, founder of Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN,) claimed protests against Trump were “satanic.”
“There’s a desire on the part of some, and I think it’s satanic, it really is spiritual, to destroy America. America is the great hope of the world. If America goes down, the lamp of freedom goes out,” said Robertson on “The 700 Club.”
