President Donald Trump’s decision to abandon voting on Trumpcare was seen as a resounding defeat in the mainstream media, but not in the alternate reality that is FOX News.

Steve Doocy, one of the co-hosts of “FOX and Friends,” declared Trump’s decision to pull out of his healthcare legislation as a masterstroke.

“I compare it to MacArthur’s decision to withdraw from the Philippines in World War II,” said Doocy. “He saw that the Democrats has stirred up voters against the American Health Care Act (AHCA.) It was smart to walk away from it.”

FOX News recently tried to portray Trump as working hard during his weekend jaunt to Mar-a-Lago, according to Raw Story.

However, the Hill stated Trump had brief meetings over the weekend. He has also visited golf courses 13 times in less than three months as president, even though he complained about President Barack Obama’s golfing habits.

Veteran journalist Dan Rather posted a message on Facebook blasting Trump’s first few months.

“We’re roughly two months into the Trump Presidency, and it is the worst start to a time in office I have ever seen,” said Rather.
