President Donald Trump’s decision to share highly-sensitive intelligence with Russia is already having international repercussions.
The Business Standard News reached out to intelligence officers and diplomats at America’s allies and they said they had no faith in Trump.
A British intelligence officer who went by “Arthur,” said Trump was threatening the long-standing British-American alliance.
“We used to trust you yanks, but not anymore,” he said. “If Trump had been in the White House during World War II, we would be speaking German now!”
A French diplomat was equally scathing, “We always suspected Americans were stupid, now we know,” said “Jean-Pierre.” “Trump couldn’t manage a brothel located near a navy base.”
According to the Times of Israel, local spies are disgusted with Trump’s actions which may have comprised an operation against ISIS.
Former Mossad director Shablai Shavit compared Trump to a “bull in a china shop.”
“Before he makes any decision, he posts on Twitter. He tweets and then checks the responses in order to make his decision. Is that how you run a country? That’s not how you run a corner store,” said Shavit.
He also said Israel would stop sharing information with the United States.
“If tomorrow I were asked to pass information to the CIA, I would do everything I could to not pass it to them. Or I would first protect myself and only then give it, and what I’d give would be totally neutered,” said Shavit.
