Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter has lionized former FOX News CEO Roger Ailes, who died last week.

“He gave so many ambitious women a chance to get into the TV world and make good money,” said Coulter in an interview with the Patriot Media Sentinel. “These conservative women want to work, unlike liberal women who want to stay home and wait on their government check. He was a real feminist.”

Coulter wasn’t the only conservative women to praise Ailes, who was ousted from FOX after he was hit with multiple sexual harassment suits. According to the website, PoliZette, FOX News commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle called Ailes “a champion of women.” Guilfoyle also defended Ailes against sexual harassment charges.
