FOX News commentator Eric Bolling has joined many other members of the right-wing media by labeling the Trump-Russia scandal a wild goose chase.
“There is no evidence proving the Russians interfered with the elections,” said Bolling on “The Five.” “It’s just Democrat sour grapes. They can’t deal with the fact that Donald Trump ran a great campaign and defeated Hillary Clinton, a bad candidate. The Russia scandal is faker than Maxine Water’s hair.”
Ainsley Earhardt, a co-host of “FOX and Friends,” supported Bolling’s views. She said, “Are you sick of the Russia narrative?”
However, 17 intelligence agencies, several reputable foreign media outlets and foreign intelligence agencies have all reported Russia played a role in swinging the election in favor of Donald Trump. Russian diplomats were also picked up on surveillance bragging about their contacts with the Trump campaign.
In addition, several Trump campaign officials, such as former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort, have been found to have financial ties to Russia. Former CIA Director John Brennan recently revealed that he was so concerned by what he found he turned the information over to the FBI.
