The Business Standard News has received another email from a White House insider who claims that even Republicans are growing tired of President Donald Trump’s antics.
According to “Orange Throat,” Trump never reads reports, spends hours watching television and is generally ignorant of how the government works.
“Every time he opens his mouth it’s such a word salad,” said Orange Throat’s email. “He makes Sarah Palin sound like Patrick Stewart. He’s an embarrassment. He thought the secretary of the Treasury oversaw the White House jewels and trophies.”
Trump is also notoriously flaky. Last week he cofounded Republicans by alleging he would work on a deal with Democrats to allow DACA recipients to stay, only to deny it. Rumors also leaked that the White House was going to stay in the Paris Climate Accords, which was also denied by the White House.
On Sunday, he tweeted a doctored video of him striking Hillary Clinton with a golf ball.
In a letter to the New York Times, Dr. Lance Dodd, a former Harvard professor, and a group of psychiatrists, said that Trump’s behavior indicates mental instability.
“Mr. Trump’s speech and actions demonstrate an inability to tolerate views different from his own, leading to rage reactions. His words and behavior suggest a profound inability to empathize. Individuals with these traits distort reality to suit their psychological state, attacking facts and those who convey them (journalists, scientists.)” said the letter. “In a powerful leader, these attacks are likely to increase, as his personal myth of greatness appears to be confirmed. We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr. Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as president.”
Speaking on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” GOP strategist Chris Metzler said Trump’s behavior was beginning to reflect badly on Republicans.
“The problem is for Republicans,” said Metzler, “it starts to make us look like, oh, I don’t know, a band of idiots.”
