The National White Alliance is the latest alt-right organization to attack the new “Star Wars” movie “The Last Jedi.” According to Brian Blanc, president of the National White Alliance, the movie is dangerous propaganda that promotes an anti-white male agenda.
“The movie is dangerous, Jew-led propaganda,” said Blanc in a press release. “In the movie, all of the heroic figures are women or ethnic minorities. The only heroic, white male is Luke Skywalker. They are trying to replace us by showing a future where women and minorities run things.”
Other white nationalists have criticized the movie.
“The Last Jedi is the culmination of the Jews at Disney trying to milk the Star Wars franchise for as many shekels as possible. Instead of taking their time to create a solid product, they’ve been rushing to s**t out as many Star Wars movies as they can. This includes spin-off movies like Rogue One and the upcoming Han Solo film. The quality of these products has been of secondary concern. It couldn’t be any more obvious at this point,” said a review in neo-Nazi site The Daily Stormer.
However, an article in the Stranger said Star Wars’ more multicultural universe is a way of marketing the movies to a global audience.
“Star Wars, like Hollywood, is a global machine. It produces images for a world market whose consumers are not racially and culturally uniform. These consumers will pay good money to see representations of themselves in a big-budget blockbuster. This business model and understanding entirely explains the undying success of The Fast and the Furious image machine,” said Charles Mudede.
Neo-nazi criticism hasn’t seemed to have affected “The Last Jedi.” The movie has currently made more than $600 million domestically and more than $1 billion worldwide.
