Republicans are working themselves into a frenzy about a potential Hillary Clinton victory, Apparently, some of them think that a Clinton presidency could lead to a purge of conservatives.
Right-wing radio show host Michael Savage was all doom and gloom on his show “The Savage Nation.”
“If Hillary wins it’s all over for us conservatives,” he said. “I could see her personally supervising beheadings of Republicans she has thrown in Guantanamo.”
According to Right Wing Watch, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich seems to think that Clinton will oppress Christians. He suggested that she might pass legislation to outlaw the Lord’s prayer.
“They could use, raising the specter, for example, of eliminating ‘our Father’ from the Lord’s Prayer, because, after all, that’s a particular pronoun,” said Gingrich during a teleconference with the Association of Mature American Citizens. “This stuff, in my judgment, is madness, but nonetheless these are people who are dedicated, I think, fanatics who want to impose a secular America on the rest of us and who are willing to use the government to do it.”
During Wednesday night’s final presidential debate, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump showed his contempt for Clinton by calling her a “nasty woman.”
