The Republican Party has selected an elite group of black conservatives to discuss ways to win over African-American voters. The team, which Republican National Committee (RNC) staffers jokingly call the Sally Hemings group, is comprised of the best black conservative minds in the country. The group includes Dr. Ben Carson, the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, former Rep. Allen West, former presidential candidate Herman Cain and Stacey Dash.
“These sharp minds will helps us formulate a plan for reaching out to the black community and breaking the stranglehold of the Democrats,” said RNC Chair Reince Preibus. “The Republican Party can do much more for the black community. Black people have been voting Democrat for 40 years and it has got them nowhere.”
The Business Standard News also learned the menu being served to the group. It is fried chicken, watermelon and kool aid.
“We know what kind of food they like,” Preibus said. “We want them to be comfortable.”
