Trump Questions Pope Francis’ Knowledge Of Christianity

Donald Trump has picked fights with Mexicans, Muslims, women and most of his opponents in the Republican primary. But now he has picked a fight with the Holy Father.
Pope Francis, who recently completed a tour of Mexico, has criticized Trump’s comments about building a wall to stop illegal immigration. The pope said Trump, who has been divorced twice, misquotes the Bible and is currently married to a woman who has posed nude, is not a Christian.
According to CNN, Pope Francis said, “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel.”
Trump supporters, including several pastors, have criticized the pope’s comments. Rev. Franklin Graham defended Trump.
“My advice to the pontiff: Reach out and build a bridge to Donald Trump,” he said on Facebook. “Who knows where he may be this time next year!”
Trump chastised the pope for inserting himself into the 2016 presidential race and questioned Pope Francis’ knowledge of religion.
“What does he know about Christianity, anyway?” said Trump in a radio interview.
