Some of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s supporters say they will back him no matter what accusations are hurled against him.
“Even if Trump is accused of anally raping a 16-year-old girl, I will still support him,” said Alex Jones on his show “Info Wars.” “I will do anything to prevent Hillary Clinton getting into the White House.”
Jones, who is a noted conspiracy theorist, has also accused President Barack Obama and Clinton of being demon-possessed
However, the Trump campaign is currently reeling from a string of accusations of sexual impropriety which include groping a woman on a plane and walking in on beauty pageant contestants while they were undressed.
But those accusations haven’t stopped several Evangelical Christians from supporting him.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said he was more concerned about Trump’s privacy being violated after a tape leaked of him making lewd comments about women while on “Access Hollywood.”
According to Right Wing Watch, Christian activist Janet Porter told Colorado state Rep. Gordon Klingenschmitt that people of faith have to vote for Trump to save unborn babies and America.
“If you want to protect babies again in your lifetime, you have to vote for Donald Trump,” said Porter. “You can say, ‘I stood on principles and look how moral I am and look at how righteous I am’ and you can please a lot of men by saying, ‘See, I can’t be a part of someone who was once carnal, I can’t be part of someone who was once a sinner.’ What you’re going to do then is have to explain to your children why the Constitution is shredded, why now we live in a police state without a First Amendment, a Second Amendment, a Fourth Amendment, a 10th Amendment. That’s what we’re looking at and the stakes have never, ever been higher.”
