ISIS, the terrorist group that controls areas of Iraq and Syria, has reacted with joy to the election of Donald Trump. Apparently, they are so excited about a Trump presidency that they have given their recruiters the week off.
“Trump hates Muslims so much, he does our recruiting for us,” said Abu Aziz, a writer for Dubiq, an ISIS publication. “The caliph has given our online recruiters the week off.”
According to Reuters, Islamic fundamentalists are excited about a Trump presidency.
“This guy is a complete maniac. His utter hate towards Muslims will make our job much easier because we can recruit thousands,” said Abu Omar Khorasani, an Isis leader in Afghanistan. “Our leaders were closely following the US election but it was unexpected that the Americans will dig their own graves and they did so.”
Trump made anti-Muslim sentiment a central point of his presidential campaign. He initially promised to ban immigration from Muslim countries, although he has backed off on this. However, Kris Kobach, a Trump advisor, has floated the idea of introducing a Muslim registry.
