FOX News commentator Eric Bolling has come out in support of the Republican Party’s plan to abolish Obamacare.
“Obamacare is a government-run healthcare program that has turned out to be a disaster,” said Bolling. “Jesus, being a small businessman, would have never approved of such a program. His mission was about saving souls, he didn’t care about healthcare.”
But a large part of Jesus’ ministry was healing the sick. However, Bolling’s views are inline with the GOP, who seem to have no problem with taking away healthcare from needy people.
According to the Huffington Post, Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.) said repealing Obamacare may force some people to have to ration health care, which he sees as a good thing.
He gave the example of an incident that happened when his son fell down and injured his arm. But instead of taking him to the emergency room, he took him to the doctor the next day.
“We weren’t sure what was going on,” said Huizenga. “So I splinted it up, and we wrapped it up, and the decision was, okay, do we go to the E.R.? We thought it was a sprain, but weren’t sure. Took every precaution and decided to go in the next morning.”
However, Huizenga’s son turned out to have a broken arm.
