Posters on Stormfront have hailed FOX News’ promotion of Jesse Watters. Watters used to be a correspondent for “The O’Reilly Factor,” where he specialized in ambush interviews and segments playing up racial stereotypes.

But Stormfront posters were enthusiastic about his promotion. Watters has been given a weekly show on the network.

“Watters is a journalistic paragon,” said a poster called Trooper66.

“He deserves a Pulitzer for his investigative work,” said BlueLivesMatter20.

However, Media Matters recently published a long list of Watters journalistic sins, including racially offensive segments and an incident where he stalked and ambushed journalist Amanda Terkel. (Watters tracked her down while she was on vacation.)

Watter’s last “humorous” segment was so offensive it was condemned by lawmakers and the Asian American Journalists Association.

“During the October 3 edition of Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly ran a segment featuring Jesse Watters asking offensive, stereotype-laden questions to Asian-Americans in New York City’s Chinatown such as, ‘Do you know karate?’ and ‘Am I supposed to bow to say hello?’” said Media Matters.
