Even though President Barack Obama has been out of office for about three months, that hasn’t stopped Republicans from blaming him for all the ills befalling the Trump administration. But conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has taken it one step further. He accused Obama of plotting to overthrow the government and get back in the White House.
“My intelligence sources say Obama is planning to use a battalion of human-reptilian super soldiers to overthrow President Donald Trump and use that as an excuse to install himself as president,” said Jones on his show “InfoWars.” “My sources say these hybrids look like humans but have enhanced capabilities, like the ability to see in the dark and super strength.”
Jones claimed the hybrids were developed with “George Soros’ billions.” Jones also believes that government was behind 9/11 and the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.
However, many other Republicans think Obama has sinister ulterior motives. According to the Huffington Post, Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) said Obama stayed in Washington, D.C. so he could operate a “shadow government” designed to frustrate Trump’s agenda.
“People sit back and they say to me, ‘My gosh, why can’t you guys get this done?’ I’m saying we’ve got a new CEO, we’ve got some new heads in the different departments, but the same people are there, and they don’t believe that the new owners or the new managers should be running the ship,” said Kelly.
However, several months ago the Obamas announced they intended to stay in the capital until their youngest daughter Sasha graduated from high school.
